Accumulator Bets Explained: How Combo Odds Work

OddsGainer · 2026-07-28

An accumulator (combo) bet ties several selections into one ticket. Every leg has to win — and in exchange, the odds multiply.

The multiplication

Five legs at odds around 1.8–2.4 multiply into a ticket in the 30×–45× range. A €10 bet returning €300+ is exactly this effect at work.

The honest part

Multiplying odds also multiplies risk: a 44× ticket has a real chance of roughly 2–3%. That’s why every OddsGainer pick shows its chance of winning right on the card — no pretending long shots are safe.

How the club plays it

Accumulators are the high-risk, high-reward side of the club (Protected Picks). Rare wins, big payouts — and money back on the weeks that don’t land, so a cold streak doesn’t wipe you out.
